Who we are
Every knot tied by hand.
Our father started with two looms in a rented room in 1988. Today 36 looms work in our yard in Mansarovar and in weavers’ homes in Dudu and Bagru. We dye our own wool, and the weaver’s name is sewn into every rug.
Hand-knotted rugs, hand-tufted rugs and flatweave dhurries, made on our own looms and sold from our showroom. More than 400 rugs and dhurries on the floor, with the looms behind. We lay out as many as you like. Or book a free video call and we will show you by the window.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
The label tells the truth
Every rug’s label gives the knot count, the fibre, the size and the weaver’s name, so you know exactly what you are buying.
Paid by the day
Weavers are paid for the days on the loom, not the piece, so nobody rushes a border to finish early.
Dyed in our yard
We dye most of our wool ourselves in small lots, and keep a skein of each lot to match repairs years later.

- 1988
Two looms in a rented room
Our father, a weaver from Dudu, sets up two looms in a rented room in Sanganer and sells his first rugs to traders in the old city.
- 1997
Our own dye yard
We start dyeing our own wool in a small yard, first with synthetic dyes, later adding madder, indigo and walnut for some ranges.

The Mansarovar showroom
We move to Mansarovar and open a showroom in front of the looms, so customers can see rugs being made before they buy.

Thirty-six looms, one family
The second generation runs the showroom and the dye yard. Thirty-six looms work here and in weavers’ homes in Dudu and Bagru.
