Your first visit to the Mylapore store

Parking, trial rooms, fittings and alterations: what a first visit to Luz Church Road looks like.

If you have only bought from us online, a visit to the store is worth the trip. Here is what to expect so you can plan your time.

The store is at 22 Luz Church Road, a short walk from Luz Corner. Two-wheelers can park in front; for cars, the side lanes towards Nageswara Rao Park usually have space before 11 am. Weekday mornings are quiet. Saturday evenings and the weeks before Deepavali and Pongal are busy, so expect a short wait for the trial rooms.

On the ground floor you will find all shirts, trousers, kurtas and jackets on open rails, sorted by size from 38 to 48. Every label carries the lea count and fibre mix. Try as many pieces as you like; there are three trial rooms with long mirrors. If you are between sizes, ask one of the staff to bring both, since our regular fit runs true but some men prefer the next size up in linen for summer.

Once you choose, a tailor comes down to pin the sleeves, hem or waist. Store alterations take 20 to 40 minutes; you can wait on the bench by the window with a glass of water or walk to the Kapaleeshwarar tank and come back. Pay by UPI, card or cash. Every bag goes out with a care card for washing linen, and your measurements are noted, so the next time you order online we can alter before dispatch.
