Who we are
Hair oil cooked for nine hours, the way it was at home.
Shalini began cooking her grandmother’s hair oil in 2017 for friends in Kuvempunagar. Today four women cook it in a small kitchen behind the house, 18 litres at a time, with leaves from farms near Srirangapatna.
Bhringraj, hibiscus, curry leaf and amla, simmered in cold-pressed oils in small iron pots, bottled with the batch date on the label. Send us a photo of your hair and scalp on WhatsApp. Shalini replies with a simple routine, usually the same day.
