At the studio

Our henna is sifted, soaked and rolled into cones every Thursday.

Rukhsana began drawing mehendi on the steps of her family’s house in Chowk in 2008. Today six artists work from our studio in Hazratganj, and every cone they use is filled by hand the same week.

Reviews

What customers say

Sample reviews, written for this demo. Real customer reviews replace them on your store.

The trial made all the difference. I changed my mind about the arms and they redrew it without any fuss. The stain on the wedding day was a deep maroon.

Two artists came home for my sister’s sangeet and did 22 guests before dinner. They even brought their own lamps.
Pallavi S. · Aliganj
I learnt in their Sunday workshop and now I do my daughters’ hands for every Teej.

Questions

Before you book

Answers to what customers ask us most. More on the questions page.

How early should I book bridal mehendi?

Two to three months ahead for November to February. Book a trial three to six weeks before the wedding, and the mehendi itself one or two days before.

Is your henna natural?

Yes. Our cones are Sojat henna, lemon juice, sugar and eucalyptus oil. We never use black henna or added dye, and we will not apply cones that guests bring from outside.

How dark will my stain be?

That depends on your skin, the time the paste stays on and the warmth of your hands. Most brides get a deep red-brown on the second day. We share our aftercare steps, but cannot promise a shade.

Do you travel outside Lucknow?

Yes, to Kanpur, Barabanki and Raebareli for bridal bookings, with travel charged at cost. Farther cities on request.
