From the inspection to the walk-round under lights: what happens over the two days your car is with us.

If you have booked a two-stage paint correction for the first time, here is how the two days usually go.
On day one, you bring the car to Thoraipakkam at 9 am, or our driver collects it free within 15 km. Karthik or Imran walks round it with you under LED inspection lights and points out swirls, deep scratches, water spots and stone chips. We measure the paint and agree which marks will go and which can only be reduced. You sign the written quote, which is the final price.
The car then gets a full wash, a clay bar treatment to lift embedded grime, and an iron remover that turns purple as it dissolves brake dust. Trims, badges and rubber are masked with tape. By lunch, the first stage begins: a cutting compound on a firmer pad to level the clear coat. This takes most of the afternoon, panel by panel.
On day two, the second stage uses a fine polish and a soft pad to bring out gloss. We wipe each panel with a panel prep spray to remove polishing oils and check it under three types of light. If you have also booked a ceramic coating, it goes on that evening and cures overnight, adding a day. When you collect the car, we walk round it with you again under the same lights, and show you the before readings and photos. Please do not wash the car for a week after correction or coating.
