Your first order with us, from list to gate
What happens after you send us your list, step by step, and how long each part takes in October.
If you have never ordered crackers from us before, here is exactly how it works, and roughly how long each step takes during the Deepavali season.
First, send us your list on WhatsApp, either the boxes you want from our price list or a simple note such as “two children, ages four and nine, ₹4,000”. Within an hour or two during shop hours, we send back an estimate with each item, its count, the discounted price, the ₹250 transport charge and the total. If you gave us a budget, we suggest a list, which you can change as many times as you like.
Once you agree, pay by UPI and send a screenshot. We pack your order into a sealed carton at our godown in Sivakasi, label it with your name and area, and send it by road with other Hyderabad orders. The lorry takes four to six days. We send you the dispatch date and, on the day of delivery, a message with the delivery person’s name and a rough time.
When the carton reaches your gate, check that it is sealed and dry before you sign. Open it in front of the delivery person if you can, and check the boxes against the estimate. If anything is damp or crushed, take photos at once and message us within 24 hours. Then store the carton in a cool, dry room until the evening. That is all; most families say the second order takes them five minutes.
