Sharing one order between three families

How neighbours and relatives in one building split a single order, the minimum and the transport charge.

Many of our orders come from groups: three or four families in the same apartment block, or cousins who celebrate together. Sharing one order makes sense, because the minimum of ₹2,500 and the ₹250 transport charge are spread out, and the children get to light a wider variety of items.

The easiest way is for one person to collect everyone’s lists and send them to us together. We make one estimate, but we can pack each family’s boxes in a separate bag inside the carton, marked with a flat number or name, so there is no sorting on the night. Each family can pay us by UPI separately if that is easier; just tell us the split.

As an example, three families ordering ₹2,000, ₹3,000 and ₹3,500 come to ₹8,500. Transport is still ₹250 in total, so each family pays about ₹85 for delivery instead of ₹250. Shared items, like the sparkler bucket kit at ₹650 or a family pack for the common area, can be split three ways. A group order of this size also gets packed together, so it reaches your gate in one trip.

Agree a few rules among the adults before the evening: one area for lighting, one adult in charge of matches and agarbattis, and one water bucket per family. With several families together, it helps to light ground items one at a time, while everyone watches, rather than all at once.
