Who we are
A proper haircut, with a hot towel and no hurry.
Selvam opened Kaththi in 2014 after 16 years on a Mount Road chair. He still cuts four days a week. Every barber here trained with him for a year before taking a client alone.
Scissor cuts, skin fades and beard work by five barbers who trained on the chair, not on a course. Thirty minutes per client, never squeezed. The groom’s package gives you a trial, a final cut and beard on the day, and a barber at your hall if you need one. Book six weeks ahead.

Three things we will not change
Time, not volume
We book one client per barber every 30 minutes. If the cut needs longer, it gets longer.
Clean, every time
A new blade for each client, combs in barbicide, clippers and scissors in the UV cabinet between chairs.
Straight talk
If a style will not suit your hair or your hairline, your barber will say so before the first snip.
