Who we are
A river, kept in glass.
Behind the counter on College Road are 40 tanks: quarantine for every new fish, breeding tanks for shrimp, and plants grown out before they are sold. Water is tested every morning before the shutters go up.
Planted tanks, healthy fish and patient setup visits, from a small shop that has grown aquariums in Nashik for 17 years. A setup visit takes three hours: we level the stand, lay the soil and stone, plant it and fill it, then come back in four weeks to add the fish.

Three things we will not change
Fish come last
We will not sell fish for a tank that has not cycled. We would rather you wait four weeks than lose them in one.
Quarantine first
Every fish spends 14 days in our back room before it is offered for sale, and we tell you which batch it came from.
Easy to keep
We design tanks for the time you really have. If you can spare 20 minutes a week, we plant for that.

A single counter on College Road
Aniket Joshi opens a small shop with eight tanks, selling guppies and mollies he bred on his terrace in Gangapur.

The first planted tanks
After a trip to an aquascaping meet in Pune, Aniket starts growing plants in the shop and building planted tanks for homes.

A back room for quarantine
The shop takes the room behind it for 40 tanks, so every new fish rests for 14 days before it is sold.
