Giving a spa visit as a gift

How our gift vouchers work, which treatments make the best present, and how to book for someone else.

A spa afternoon is one of the most popular gifts we sell, for birthdays, anniversaries, new mothers and parents who never take a day off. A few choices make the gift easier for the person receiving it.

Choose an amount or a treatment. A treatment voucher names exactly what the person will have, which feels more personal. An amount voucher, from ₹1,500, lets them choose for themselves and is the better option if you are unsure what they would like. For a first-time spa guest, an abhyanga or a foot ritual is a gentle start. For someone who loves a long afternoon, the half-day package at ₹7,500 is the gift people remember.

Think about timing. New mothers often prefer to wait until a few months after the birth, and some treatments are not suitable during pregnancy. Parents who rarely spend on themselves are more likely to use a voucher if it comes with a date already booked. We can hold a slot when you buy the voucher, and change it free up to six hours before.

Vouchers are valid for six months and can be used by anyone you name. We send a printed card in a cotton envelope, with a pressed sampige flower, to any address in Mysuru, or a digital card on WhatsApp for those further away. If two people are going together, we can book adjoining rooms so they start and finish at the same time and have tea in the courtyard together afterwards.
