How much roof space do I need?

About 80 to 100 sq ft per kW without shade. A 3 kW system needs roughly 300 sq ft, and the raised structure leaves the area below usable.

Will I get the government subsidy?

Homes with their own electricity connection are usually eligible for the central rooftop subsidy. We check eligibility at the survey and file the application for you.

How long does the whole process take?

Survey within 3 days, quote within 2 more. Installation takes 1–2 days, and net-meter approval from the discom usually takes 3 to 6 weeks.

Does solar work during a power cut?

An on-grid system shuts off during a cut for the safety of line workers. For backup, you need a hybrid inverter and battery, which we can add later.
