Stampings to test bench, in one building in Bhosari.

Bhramari began in 1989 as a rewinding shop for plants in Pimpri and Chinchwad. We built our first motor in 1996. Today 180 people stamp, wind, impregnate, machine and assemble motors here, and every one runs on the test bench before it is boxed.

Which motor ratings do you keep in stock?

IE2 and IE3 foot-mounted motors from 0.37 to 30 kW, 2 and 4 pole. Larger ratings and flange motors are made to order in 2–4 weeks.

Do you rewind other makes?

Yes, any make of AC motor up to 315 kW, and DC motors up to 75 kW. We send a quote with photos after opening the motor.

How long does a rewind take?

Small motors take 3–5 days, and motors above 75 kW about 7–10 days. Urgent breakdowns can be worked in shifts.

Is an IE3 motor worth the extra cost?

For motors running more than 4,000 hours a year, usually yes. The price difference is often recovered in power savings within 1–2 years.
