Planning a 2027 calendar for your business

Formats, paper and timing: how to get calendars to customers before the new year.

A printed calendar is one of the few marketing items that stays on a desk or wall for twelve months. It is worth planning well.

Choose the format first. Wall calendars suit shops and homes and give space for photographs. Table calendars sit on office desks and are best for B2B customers. Pocket calendars are cheap to post with invoices.

Collect thirteen good photographs, one for the cover and one per month, at high resolution. Your own products, staff and locations make a calendar personal; stock photos make it forgettable. Mark your own important dates as well as public holidays.

Timing matters most. Calendars should reach customers in the second half of December. Allow two weeks for design and proofs, ten days for printing and binding, and a week for distribution. That means sending us your content by mid-November. Every year, calendars ordered in late December arrive too late to be used.
