Gears, brakes, truing and a wash are in the price. Cables, pads, chains and tyres are not. A plain list with prices.

Our full workshop service is ₹799, done the same day if you bring the bicycle in before 11 am. People sometimes leave surprised by an extra line on the bill, so here is exactly what is included and what is charged separately.
The ₹799 includes a full wash and degrease of the frame, chain and gears; adjustment of front and rear brakes; tuning of gear shifting; truing both wheels; checking and tightening every nut and bolt, including the headset and bottom bracket; tyre pressure; and lubrication of the chain and moving parts. We also do a short test ride and give you a written list of anything that will need attention soon.
Parts are extra, and we always quote before we fit them. Common ones are brake pads at ₹180 a pair, brake or gear cables at ₹120 each with housing extra if it is cracked, a new chain at ₹450 to ₹750 depending on the number of gears, and tubes at ₹220. Tyres range from ₹450 for a kids’ size to ₹900 for a city bicycle. A worn freewheel or cassette, the cluster of rear gears, is ₹650 to ₹1,200.
What decides the bill is usually how long since the last service. A bicycle serviced every three months typically needs only a cable or pads, if that. One that has not been touched in two years, especially through a monsoon, often needs a chain, cables and pads together, which can add ₹1,000 or more. If the parts cost more than the bicycle is worth to you, we will say so plainly.
