Undressing, talking, ticklish feet and falling asleep: honest answers to the worries first-time guests carry quietly.

Many guests arrive with a question they feel awkward about asking at the desk. After years of answering them quietly, we have learnt that almost everyone has the same few. Here they are.
How much do I undress? Only as much as you are comfortable with. We provide disposable underwear, and you are covered by a sheet throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered. For a facial or a foot ritual you stay in the robe. If you would rather keep more on, tell your therapist; the massage can be adapted.
Do I have to talk? No. Your therapist will check the pressure in the first few minutes and then stay quiet unless you speak. Some guests chat the whole hour, and that is fine too. If you fall asleep, which happens often, the therapist simply carries on. What if it hurts or tickles? Say so at once. Pressure is easy to change, and therapists would always prefer to be told. Ticklish feet can be worked with firmer strokes or left out. You can stop the session at any time.
What about my body? Our therapists see every shape, age and skin, every day. Unshaved legs, scars, stretch marks and a few extra kilos are not noticed in the way guests fear. You can also choose a woman or man therapist when you book, and every room locks from the inside.
