Prints, albums and frames: what they cost and what lasts

Matte or lustre paper, flush-mount albums and frame sizes: how we price what you hold in your hands, and why it is worth printing.

Every session includes an online gallery to download, but we still encourage families to print. Phones get lost and drives fail, and a print on the wall is seen every day. Here is what we offer and what it costs.

Loose prints are made on archival lustre or matte paper, with pigment inks that keep colour for decades away from direct sun. A 6 × 8 inch print is ₹180, 8 × 12 is ₹350 and 12 × 18 is ₹950. Lustre has a soft sheen and shows colour well; matte has no glare and suits black-and-white and rooms with bright windows.

Framed prints come in teak or black wood frames with museum glass, which cuts reflections. A 12 × 18 inch framed print is ₹4,800, and a 20 × 30 inch print for a living-room wall is ₹11,500. Measure the wall first; most families choose a size smaller than suits the space. As a guide, a frame over a sofa should be about two-thirds of the sofa’s width.

Our flush-mount albums have thick pages that lie flat, bound in cloth or leather. A 10 × 10 inch album with 20 pages, holding 40 to 50 photos, is ₹14,000; each extra spread is ₹600. We design the layout and send it for your approval before printing. Prints and albums are ready ten days after you approve them. Store albums upright, away from damp walls, and keep prints out of direct afternoon sun.
